Wales – The Union’s (UK) Dumping Ground

A REAL Dumping ground

The heading above is usually used in a metaphorical sense, but in Wales’ case it can easily be meant in a real sense.

Recent reports in the media have highlighted plans to dump yet more radioactive waste in Wales! This is totally unacceptable and the people of Wales need to realise that our country, Wales is quite literally, the Union’s (UK) dumping ground.

Just a few short months ago, a groundswell of support followed the lead of Cardiff AM, Neil McEvoy against the dumping of highly suspect nuclear material in Cardiff Bay.

What’s Coming Our Way

And now Wales has yet more radioactive,  nuclear material potentially dumped on us.

Details of actual locations for consideration have not been released publicly yet, it appears they’re keeping those cards close to their chests.

We could guess the Secretary of State for Wales, Alun Cairns may have been behind the plans, considering this glowing statement. He said:

Well this is a wider issue that needs consideration. But it’s all in the normal course of events. I don’t want anyone to read anything extra ordinary out of this. This is not anything that is very different to the normal. Everyone knows that the standards the UK holds are admired around the world anywhere in this field. I am completely comfortable as someone who comes from that community – it is not geographic at all.

It appears he still has designs on a knighthood by shafting his country. the country he is meant to represent around the Westminster table.

Radioactive Waste Management (RWM) Meetings

The Westmister government run company behind the plans, Radioactive Waste Management (RWM) will be holding meetings in Swansea on March the 12th. A second will take place in Llandudno on March the 14th.

If you want to attend these talks you will need to book your place online. More information here:

Apparently screening work has been carried out across the UK with Wales being broken up into 6 subregions on a special website set up to inform the public which canbe fund  here:

London based ‘Welsh Labour’ complicit in Tory plans

The (London) Labour run Welsh Government has also published its Working with Communities policy which can be found here:

A petition has also been set up here – https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/240901/moderation-info but is yet to be publish to the public.
